Mr. Brian R. McCaughrin, Founder, President, & Owner of McCaughrin Maritime, Offered Bank of America Official's major debt holders for Rand Logistics (RLOG), $100M Cash to purchase the 16 vessels of the 3rd largest Great Lakes Shipping Company of both Lower Lakes Towing Limited, lowerlaketowing.com/ (Headquartered in Port Dover, Ontario), and Grand River Navigation Company grnavigation.com/ (Headquartered in Avon, Ohio).
Mr. McCaughrin told Bank of America Officials from the get-go, this will only work if Rand Logistics Inc, (RLOG) is not involved in the deal even if they are the parent company. I want nothing to do with any of the Executives, Board of Directors or its stock there, they can fend for themselves and cough on the other $152.4M debt, who created this toxic mess to begin with, and drove its stock from $7.00 a share in 2006 to a mere 19 cents in 2017, and have Rand recreate another fleet, since they don't seem to have any problem firing seasoned Executives at either Lower Lakes or Grand River.
McCaughrin's deal for $100M Cash included: Buy the entire 16 ships fleet, of both companies, Lower Lakes & Grand River, both operating and laid up vessels of MV. Manitoba in Montreal, Quebec, MV. Manistee in Toledo, Ohio, and Cement barge CTC#1 in Chicago, Illinois. Its Office Personnel at both Lower Lakes & Grand River, shipboard employees, short-term, and a long-term contract and its cargoes, and its client's list.
Mr. McCaughrin said we learned on November 21, 2017, from the Bank of America that the deal was not going to go in the direction of McCaughrin's Group, regardless of the money or employment guarantees and instead withdrew and walked away from the table, and hours later Rand sold to Associated Partners Inc, (API) instead as whole company, with no guarantees in place for any of the Lower Lakes or Grand River employees or its Executives, and Office Personnel.

Announced today that Mr. Brian R. McCaughrin, Founder, President, & Owner of McCaughrin Maritime, met with 13 personnel of Great Lakes Logistics LLC. All have decided with their lawyers to dissolution the firm, rather than move forward. Mr. McCaughrin said he was disappointed by their decision but honored their decision without a discussion.
Mr. McCaughrin, who was putting up his own money at the time to purchase the two Subsidiaries of Lower Lakes Towing Limited (lowerlakestowing.com/, headquartered in Port Dover, Ontario) and Grand River Navigation Company, Inc. (grnavigation.com/, Headquartered in Avon, Ohio, to his side of the table, was having talks with Officials at Bank of America, and its other debt holders of Rand Logistics Inc., during the past 6 months during the summer and fall of 2017. Rand itself and its executives were never a factor in the deal.
Mr. McCaughrin said he wanted a totally different name to be used for this venture, and Great Lakes Logistics LLC became available and was named because 90% of both Lower Lakes Towing and Grand River's clients are based there, hence the reason for the name, Great Lakes.

Ms. Elizabeth G. McKeigh, President of Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary's (FOBS) said right now in going over their cargo requirements and terms agreement, (FOBS) will be downsizing from Capesize tonnages to both #98,500 dwt Post Panamax bulkers and #78,500 dwt Panamax bulkers, & save about $1B in both chartering, bunkers, insurance and outside broker cost overall.
Ms. McKeigh said this latest chartering will bring (FOBS) up to 42 bulk carriers, with long-term agreement and bunkers locked in for the duration of 4, 6, and 7-year charters, all paid up in full, with enough liquidity on hand for even the lean time.

In January 2016, MMMSI had to invest in outside lights all the way around it building for the first time in 20 years to safeguard its property. In 2017, MMMSI had to install more cameras all the way around for the same thing, cost in the thousands of dollars.
It just does not pay any more to have nice things sitting outside your fenced property when a parent lets their "adult children run wild" and do damage to other people's property, and there is not enough police to secure Wayne, Michigan with the massive cutbacks going on.
MMMSI last week tried hiring an outside lighting contract, but they are packed with a heavy schedule of customers. Maybe next year if we are still here.

McCaughrin, Founder, President, & Owner of McCaughrin Maritime met with investors, and civic leaders in Wayne, Michigan about McCaughrin's decision to withdrawn its 10 year /1$B investment from the 3rd largest Great Lakes Shipping Company of Rand Logistics Inc., randlogisticsinc.com/ Headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Mr. McCaughrin said this was not an easy decision to make, and it was not made in haste. It was because we lost faith, and trust in Mr. Edward R. Levy, CEO & President of Rand Logistics Inc., (RLOG).
Mr. Levy is a lackluster leader who simply drags his feet in getting any of the important items like "financing and stock price above $1.00 a share" to promote itself as going concern.
McCaughrin's actually waited extra 2 quarters to see any improvement, "but" No, more of the same nonsense and broken promises that Mr. Levy like dishing out...I, think Rand's own stockholders and debt holder see that too.
When you rid yourself of seasoned Executives at both Lower Lakes Towing & Grand River Navigation, You better have someone even stronger to take over the reins... Mr. Levy, you are a poor choice, and the reason why Rand is in terrible shape, both financially and stock price wise.
This current buyout by American Industrial Partners, (AIP) was only made in past days, from other deals of Bank of America, Mr. Blaird D. Brent & M/T Bank Corporation and McCaughrin's Interest, which we would have worked on with Mr. Brent.
In both of those deals had Mr. "Slippery" Ed Levy out the door, along with his CFO. Their own Independent Audit was fired when they did not agree on the final numbers in signing the yearly report, so what does that tell you honesty went out the window.
"Slippery" Ed has been in my opinion "cooking the books" for some time, and another reason for getting rid of the Executives at Lower Lakes and Grand River would not go along with it either. Not only do you save a lot of money on salaries, but now you can take your time and "cook the books faster." Because none of these quarterly or yearly report made any sense anyway, and Ed was late in producing them up to 3 months like 4th quarter of 2017.
American Industrial Partners, (AIP) what are they doing, they have 2 large liens for now whopping $254M, up +$31M from the $224.59M when we saw some of the real ledgers in August 2017. All (AIP) is doing is investing in lien #2 only and wiping out $90M of debt, and you still have another lien from Bank of America, lien #1 that is $164M. Total debt = $254M - $90M = $164M debt. This is the scam of scams thought up by "Slippery" Ed Levy. There is no way that Rand will ever be paying off $164M in 2 years to re-sell out, not for a seasonal company.

Mr. Levy promised his remaining stockholders that he was working on extending its debt schedule further out back in March 2017, On "re-capitalization plan" ease up needed funds for expansion and future purchase of additional ships on top of the 16 vessels they currently operate on both side of the Great Lakes and who have vast customer base of 50 clients, and not completed is inexcusable.

Instead, the Ford Explorer was parked for 7 months at MMMSI location, and the Company instead leased a KIA's in its replacement, later Ford Explorer was sent to Engineers in Dearborn, Michigan where it was scrapped.
Sadly, Ford has been making vehicles for 114 years and still can't get it right. Recalls are a standard at Ford, and putting its customer base at risk is both unwarranted and unprofessional, because Ford build sub-standard vehicles for profit, otherwise you would not have recalled over the years.
Living in Wayne, Michigan 27 years ago "used to be Ford Country." Today, Ford is losing ground in reliability to KIA which in a 9 block area around MMMSI Office location are seeing lots of KIA Soul Owners, that used to be Ford car owner. In 38 month that 9 more New KIA Souls Owners.

You know it's funny—Mr. McCaughrin never came from a family who had their hand in the "Global Shipping" industry. Mr. McCaughrin said at 8 years of age to his dad, Dr. Walter S. McCaughrin, D.O.—A very successful eye doctor with 35 years in the medical field—"I will be in global shipping in some way, either working for someone or working for myself." His dad said, "Brian, never back away from your dreams, and there is no word in your vocabulary called 'Can't.'"
At the age of 16 years, Mr. McCaughrin was working for the second largest import/export broker for two years, 1966-1968, in Detroit, Michigan, called W.R. Filbin & Company, Inc., which also had offices in Toledo, Ohio, & Port Huron, Michigan.
Mr. Filbin and his expanding company had time charters and many ocean ships from the famous UK-based "Head Lines" bring over customer cargoes in a more timely manner, and a safer manner in 20' containers to keep the product from any breakage.
What an experience that was. I got to experience the inner workings, from loading to sailing schedules, to customs acceptance and delivering paperwork, to boarding the ships and setting up customer delivery at Detroit Harbor Terminal.
This interest further played into my hand on June 17, 1968, two days after graduating from Grosse Pointe High School (GPH) in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. I was heading to the U.S. Navy 6th Fleet Amphibious Fleet, in Little Creek, Virginia, working on The Landing Ship Tank (LST) MV. GRAHAM COUNTY 1176, which was 440 x 60 x 18 powered by 2 diesel engines of #10,000 horsepower cruising at 18mph.
The U.S.S. GRAHAM COUNTY 1176, is Ro/Ro—a Roll-on / Roll-Off type of cargo ship with an opening in the bow with doors that open up and a 60-foot ramp that extends out.
The U.S.S. GRAHAM COUNTY, 1176 did quite a few beach landings by dropping the stern anchor out about 100 feet of chains, so it later can pull itself off the beach. It's quite an experience to see. On it, I learned more and worked in all areas of operation. The U.S.S. GRAHAM COUNTY, 1176 traveled as far south as the equator, and as far east as the Country of Turkey. These were the good old days.
After spending 8 years in logistics, 12 years in retail, and 35 years in Air Cargo Transportation in both freighter operations and domestic freight handling with Northwest Airlines (NWA) and Delta Airlines, Inc., I spent my last 23 years in supervisory positions, managing #35,000 square foot freight facilities on midnight, including ramp operations accepting inbound and outbound freight, and breakdown.
At 46 years of age, it was back to my first love—water transportation. I formed my own company with my family name, "McCaughrin" Maritime Marine Systems, Inc. (MMMSI) on January 26, 1996. My first 10 years of operation were on the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway Systems, we left in 2006 and now we have expanded to cover the oceans of the world over the past 11.7 years. As they say, the rest is history.

You know it's funny—Mr. McCaughrin never came from a family who had their hand in the "Global Shipping" industry. Mr. McCaughrin said at 8 years of age to his dad, Dr. Walter S. McCaughrin, D.O.—A very successful eye doctor with 35 years in the medical field—"I will be in global shipping in some way, either working for someone or working for myself." His dad said, "Brian, never back away from your dreams, and there is no word in your vocabulary called 'Can't.'"
At the age of 16 years, Mr. McCaughrin was working for the second largest import/export broker for two years, 1966-1968, in Detroit, Michigan, called W.R. Filbin & Company, Inc., which also had offices in Toledo, Ohio, & Port Huron, Michigan.
Mr. Filbin and his expanding company had time charters and many ocean ships from the famous UK-based "Head Lines" bring over customer cargoes in a more timely manner, and a safer manner in 20' containers to keep the product from any breakage.
What an experience that was. I got to experience the inner workings, from loading to sailing schedules, to customs acceptance and delivering paperwork, to boarding the ships and setting up customer delivery at Detroit Harbor Terminal.
This interest further played into my hand on June 17, 1968, two days after graduating from Grosse Pointe High School (GPH) in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. I was heading to the U.S. Navy 6th Fleet Amphibious Fleet, in Little Creek, Virginia, working on The Landing Ship Tank (LST) MV. GRAHAM COUNTY 1176, which was 440 x 60 x 18 powered by 2 diesel engines of #10,000 horsepower cruising at 18mph.
The U.S.S. GRAHAM COUNTY 1176, is Ro/Ro—a Roll-on / Roll-Off type of cargo ship with an opening in the bow with doors that open up and a 60-foot ramp that extends out.
The U.S.S. GRAHAM COUNTY, 1176 did quite a few beach landings by dropping the stern anchor out about 100 feet of chains, so it later can pull itself off the beach. It's quite an experience to see. On it, I learned more and worked in all areas of operation. The U.S.S. GRAHAM COUNTY, 1176 traveled as far south as the equator, and as far east as the Country of Turkey. These were the good old days.
After spending 8 years in logistics, 12 years in retail, and 35 years in Air Cargo Transportation in both freighter operations and domestic freight handling with Northwest Airlines (NWA) and Delta Airlines, Inc., I spent my last 23 years in supervisory positions, managing #35,000 square foot freight facilities on midnight, including ramp operations accepting inbound and outbound freight, and breakdown.
At 46 years of age, it was back to my first love—water transportation. I formed my own company with my family name, "McCaughrin" Maritime Marine Systems, Inc. (MMMSI) on January 26, 1996. My first 10 years of operation were on the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway Systems, we left in 2006 and now we have expanded to cover the oceans of the world over the past 11.7 years. McCaughrin said, "We expected (FOBS) Fleet to be cut by -50% by 2021 to around 20-25 ships when these current cargo agreement run out. We are looking into longer more profitable mode of transportation by rail, where these cargoes can easier be transported from and to, in a more timely manner, and totally eliminate long sailing ships in specific regions, where global transcontinental rail is available for customers, and cutting further cargo rates in the meantime, that has always been my #1 Priority."
McCaughrin said that is why MMMSI & its Partners use rail for all of its Great Lakes customers' containers to Detroit, Michigan from the Port of Baltimore, Maryland via CSX Rail; it's faster and far cheaper than using the Great Lakes / St. Lawrence Seaway Systems, which are far more expensive and very time-consuming, in an industry where time is money.
The Seaway and Great Lakes are only seasonal businesses and don't want to change that business plan, while McCaughrin's, (FOBS), and its eight Subsidiaries are year-round bulk cargoes/containers operations where customers needs are #1.

Ms. McKeigh said "Due to McCaughrin's strategic developing project, and lower chartering cost by -65% and low bunkers by -40% in Third, (3rd) Quarter of 2015 and all of 2016 is the reason why McCaughrin Maritime Global - Atlantic, the region is exploding in market demand over supply. In 15 months this division alone has grown from 4 ships to 16 to end of Third, (3rd) Quarter 2017."
(FOBS) Has had to re-adjust its 2018 Number of Ships it will need for the demanding cargoes that are coming on board. At present we have more demand by 7.1 ratios vs 6.1 ratios in Second, (2nd) Quarter of 2017.
We have hope we can make a small adjustment with its present Eight (8) Divisions before going to outside vendors for charters first. Right now the magic number is between 40-45 ships for 2018.

As we expand McCaughrin Maritime Global Products around the globe, we can see more strength and less weakness, in how we market these products of bulk cargoes and the containers mix.
Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary, (FOBS) has created its 8th division on September 29, 2017, of McCaughrin Maritime Global - Scandinavia, and lowered its cargo rates across the board in 8 regions of the world for New Customers, primary because of huge saving (FOBS) capturing in both -65% percent of lower chartering cost, and -40% percent of lower bunker cost locked in for long-term, & Starting in the 3rd Quarter of 2015, & All of 2016.
The year 2017 in chartering cost is minimal in our overall cost factors, and will be covered in longer-term customer contract, and due to the fact (FOBS) has a surplus in bunkers in 5 of 7 division up to end of the year, 2 of our other divisions Atlantic and South Africa won't need to secure other bunkers vendors, which have gone up a bit, and that's a saving per year.
Each of these eight divisions has a budget to go by, and stick pretty close to it. Each of the eight divisions is operated independently, and can only charter just so many ships per year. Its customer base must exceed its tonnages requirements before charters can be made.
McCaughrin Maritime Global - Atlantic, has exceeded those requirements on numerous occasions and had to trade a Chinamax in (FOBS) for 2 Cape sizes to full fill cargo commitment, and now it must wait a year before asking for more ships.
(FOBS) Has had to re-adjusted its commitment for 2017/18 due to McCaughrin Maritime Global - Atlantic Division, growth this years from starting with four ships to 14 ships in 15 months, and picking up the New Scandinavia Trade, which is fully secured now. We can't take anymore trade at this time since we have now used up its option on trades.

Mr. McCaughrin said "I don't care whether you drop the investigation or not. I have never done anything wrong, and you know I have not done anything wrong, and that is why you have no investigation, and that is what is so stupid about this." Willing to bet this got all the way up to your Commander and Chief, President Donald J. Trump.
Know for a fact; the (DOD) has been watching me for 21 years when I started this company and was already engaged in an invitation to the third world Countries of Libya and Lebanon. McCaughrin's presence came up on a radar screen as big as the moon, and I should be so shocked? Not even close.
Spies in Washington, D.C. have told us more than once that the MMMSI Headquarter building is being monitored 24/7/365 since day 1, and Mr. McCaughrin is being watched even closer because of his third World connection: Countries where the U.S. Government has no representation.

Mr. Levy instead, brought in New Board of Directors, added 16 people to Headquarters, who knew nothing about running major Great Lakes Shipping Company with 50 blue chip customers.
Mr. Levy managed to lose $46M in revenue from $158M in 2016 to $112M in 2017. Saw it stock, (RLOG) drop from $5.00 a share to 0.29 cents a share today, and add $229M to its bottom line..Its Board of Directors gave Mr. Levy a $69,000 raise from $450,000 to $519,000 for what???
This is not leadership at the helm, this is a nightmare of inexperience and Rand Board of Directors should be fired for not doing anything in that amount of time, but getting a paycheck along the ways.
Sadly Rand Shareholders have been waiting seven months for the recapitalization plan, to get its $229M debt in line and get longer payment schedules to plan put together, that Mr. Levy promised, but has dragged his feet in bringing it to shareholders. McKeigh, Senior Executive of Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary, (FOBS) said Customers in the Country of Finland, wanted to be included with the Country of Norway, Country of Sweden in (FOBS) upcoming expansion plans in The 4th Quarter of 2017 of Scandinavia Countries, with the exception of the Country of Denmark, which has been left off intentionally.
Ms. McKeigh, said back in August, we secured sizeable customer base in both Country of Norway, and Country of Sweden that the Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary, (FOBS) was bringing in two #170,000 DWT Cape size bulkers for some cargoes we had been looking at to move.
With the addition of Country of Finland now, and depending on what we can secure for their cargo on the long-term result, it will depend on what we can get ship wise on short notice.
(FOBS) is jammed with commitment's already, and exchanging a #400,000 DWT Chinamax for two #170,000 Cape size bulkers, was the only way, we could secure additional ships for McCaughrin Maritime Global - Atlantic Division, which is #1 Division as far Countries served over, Close #2 Asia, with total amount of ships in cargo movement.

(FOBS) Be starting backward at the bottom with Handymax of #35,000 DWT and (FOBS) tonnages start at #75,500 DWT Panamax and #170,000 DWT Capesize bulkers, and upwards.
We are not going backward and, we are not desperate, (FOBS) believes this is politically motivated and has a lot to do with them dumping The Department of Defense, (DOD) of August 10, 2017, which (DOD) Officials did not take well of them trying to secure grain cargoes "but" every now & then hauling U.S. Military cargoes, after (FOBS) told them Day 1, No U.S. Military Equipment, being hauled.
McCaughrin's & (FOBS) Group agreed to stay 60 plus days and see everyone operations throughout the USA in three locations of Eastern Seaports of the USA, The U.S. Gulf Ports, and Western Seaports of the USA, which by the way was very educational. Thank You Very Much.
Both McCaughrin's & (FOBS) Officials stated during this same time frame, Secured 10 New Contract in Brazil, Vietnam, India, Burma, and Australia, for longer-term hauling agreements, using the same equipment offered to the USA counterparts.

Received an e-mail from Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary, (FOBS), Announcing today that due to 11.7% increase in "New Ships" being delivered to its global ship owners between the 4th quarter of 2017 and 4th quarter of 2018, (FOBS) see greater opportunity in chartering more tonnages and lower chartering rates prevailing.
Ms. Elizabeth G. McKeigh, Senior Executive of (FOBS), said the chartering rates for both Panamax & Cape size bulkers should be around the neighborhood of what we have paid, and by the time "New Ships" that start coming online.
(FOBS) Expect to charter about 4-6 more ships between now and 4th quarter of 2018, bringing up our tonnages requirement to between 34-36 ships by the time this is settled. Our existing tonnages with 2-year charters, ship owners are lining up to see (FOBS) extending charters out further.

Country of China has been cutting back on its coal demand for years and no longer needs it, as it been using natural gas, and, nuclear power, even those McCaughrin's been still carrying coal to China needs for back up long-term storage, must get a grip on its air pollution there.

McKeigh, Senior Executive of Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary, (FOBS) said (FOBS) will transfer the #400,000 DWT Chinamax from McCaughrin Maritime Global - South Africa Division to McCaughrin Maritime Global - Australia Division for the Australia to China Ore Route and Also transfer two, (2) #170,000 DWT Capesize bulkers from McCaughrin Maritime Global - Australia to McCaughrin Maritime Global Atlantic Subsidiary, for their 2017/18 Expansion routes into the Country of Sweden, and the Country of Norway.
This will further strengthen (FOBS) position in the Both Atlantic, and Pacific, with the necessary tonnages being moved, when demands are outstripping supply by a 5:1 ratio, up vs, 4:1 ratio in Second, (2nd) Quarter 2017. This success is because of locking in lower chartering rates, lower bunkers rates, no debt, and has ample liquidity.

Mr. Brian R. McCaughrin, Founder, President & Owner of McCaughrin Maritime, had a great luncheon today in the City of Wayne, Michigan, with a group of investors, and business leaders of various sectors of the City.
It was open format that this group wanted to asked specific question to What, Where, When, and Why, as to McCaughrin Maritime Global, A Division of Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary, (FOBS), Many invitations by Amazons, Colgate Palmolive, and United States Department of Defense, (DOD), in coming back to U.S. Market after nearly 8.6 years absent, and McCaughrin Maritime USA, interest in investing in Great Lakes Based Shipping Company, Called: Rand Logistics Inc.
Mr. McCaughrin said this is a very complex piece of machinery with many moving parts, and we as a group, have never taken anything for granted. Being in the global market for 21 years, minus my 40 months lost in a serious accident that left me paralyzed for eight months and in traction for 12 months gave me a whole new perspective of life, and how I, would like to see my global company grow in New Direction.
Now that (DOD) is done, we never took that serious, because we had to deal with them once before, and (DOD) does a lot of investigating, or what I, called "fishing for rates" which we know (DOD) is not happy with some of the domestic and international carriers they have moving their product around the world.
Maersk has been caught numerous times making up bills on cargoes they never moved for (DOD), and APL was caught a few years ago for not putting cameras in each of their sea containers, they were caught putting cameras in every other one. (DOD) Does their homework, and does it quite well. Both of these firms have been fined quite a few times, and that is why (DOD) came to McCaughrin's to find someone who is ethical and plays by the rules. In 21 years, McCaughrin's has never been fined or arrested for this nonsense.
Questions that were asked were many, but came down to Where will McCaughrin Maritime USA, be Headquartered in with all of these invitations I, started my firm on January 26, 1996, in Lansing, Michigan, and later transfer to City of Wayne, Michigan on April 5, 1996 where we bought our first building at 34660 on Corner of Elm and Second Street, and for 21 years We continue to be here. I have no intention at this point in moving. I've owned two homes in City of Wayne, Michigan, beside MMMSI Office building; I think that proves, McCaughrin long-term investment is right here in the City of Wayne, Michigan, for the future.
Asked What the likely hood of Rand Logistics Inc., Would be? I said that is one of those complex moving parts, that no one knows. Rand Logistics Inc., is going through a recapitalization plan with its New Bank Group, and Lower Lakes Towing and Grand River Navigation, awarded $12 Million dollars of New Business, So I, am not sure where McCaughrin's will fit into Rand profitable division of Lower Lakes Towing, and Grand River Navigation, My only concern.
Also there is no love lost between McCaughrin and Mr. Edward Levy, President of Rand Logistics Inc, Before I, spend one penny of my 1 billion dollars, Levy goes, Rand goes, Stock goes, & Board of Directors go, but that may be a lot tougher because, Mr. Levy, handpicked his Board of Directors, and they are backing him 100%, no matter who I am, which is fine, I can take my bat and ball and go elsewhere, it won't be the first time, nor the last time to one of these rodeos.
What if you don't get what you want in the USA or The Great Lakes? I said we were invited here first of all, and I don't go where I, am not invited. So far in 60 days (DOD) is out, Colgate-Palmolive threw us olive branch. One day after (FOBS) dumped (DOD), but we know where that came from, so we are not expecting much from that. The U.S. Media has been great to us, and I, thank each of them very much.
Thirty minutes after (FOBS) dumped (DOD), Blessing from Brazil came and awarded McCaughrin Maritime Global - Atlantic, Two (2) contracts of 2 years each to haul ore from Brazil to China, So you could say that was our A's in the hole. We had hauled ore for these customers before when we had ships in the regions at the time. They are excellent customers to have on board, Thank you again.
Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiaries, (FOBS) Is so busy right now with demands for cargoes movements from Countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Burma, and India that has been begging us to come and move their cargoes plus their no jumping through hoops, or game playing like that in the U.S. Market when they expect to have you kiss their ass, McCaughrin's don't. Our deals are by spit and handshake, and we never had a problem, and that is why we are not a threat to anyone because they know what to expect from McCaughrin's, ships and cargo movement at competitive prices.
We have 15 days left in August, and with the companies that have invited us, we will decide between either staying or leaving the US market.

Mr. McCaughrin, said thank you as our firm has been out of the U.S. Market for 8.6 years, and The U.S. Department of Defense, (DOD), of Both Washington, D.C., and Fort Huachuca, Arizona Corporate Division has been entertaining the idea of McCaughrin Maritime Global - Atlantic, Subsidiary of Foreign Overseas Bulk Subsidiary, (FOBS) of moving a vast quality of (DOD) cargoes throughout the world.
Mr. McCaughrin said as long as it does not have "ANY U.S. Military Equipment" hidden in grain cargoes, I am fine with that. Don't think for one second we have not been asked on the other side of the pond also. We said NO to them as well. This is not about money; this is about saving lives period.
McCaughrin's waited and (DOD) was dumped because we would not play their game, nor stoop to their level. Money is important, but not that much, extending a contract for five years if we consider moving U.S. Military Equipment was NO for 18 years, was NO when we enter talks, and still is NO, that you got dumped by McCaughrin's.
(DOD) Did not take that well, I said get used to it. McCaughrin's dumped a lot of People, Companies, and Countries over such things, as this as it won't be the first or last time, it's called "ETHICS" Doing the right things for the right reason, and not just for money.
I have been broke twice, bankrupted once, and bottom out my safe place existence in first 17 years, Now we are debt free, have 34 ships in 7 regions of the world, all without "Any" Military equipment hauling contract.
